Bed and Breakfast Testimonials
Arriving is heavenly, leaving isn’t so much fun…
According to my travel companion, I’m the worlds most finicky person. I think he means I have high standards with regards to domestic matters, but arriving the gorgeous garden cottage of Bradley’s B&B, on the fringes of Taumarunuui, it was as if all my finicky dreams had come true.
I was in an oasis of clean, tranquil elegance. The fresh air , the gorgeous garden, lovingly tended by Melana, the full sized cricket pitch, the spa pool and our super comfy, spotless house-I wish we had longer to enjoy it all.

Explore a Secret Garden
Bradleys Garden, one of the region’s newest and friendliest B&B's, is just a hop skip and a jump from Taumarunui’s main drag, yet with it’s tranquil ponds, lush olive grove, stone walls and charming pergolas, blink and you could be in Europe.
Even if you’re not a garden enthusiast, prepare to be wowed. With fish to feed, a pool for the kids, a limestone amphitheatre (with perfect acoustics), outdoor chess and a full sized cricket pitch, the whole family can be entertained for hours. Plus, they do the best breakfast in the Central Plateau.

We are so glad we found Bradley's Bed and Breakfast and that we stayed for two nights. We arrived exhausted and left refreshed. Bradley's is conveniently located at the beginning of 'The Forgotten World Highway' which we thoroughly enjoyed, driving to Stratford and back in the one day.
Our hosts gave us ample space to enjoy the privacy of their delightfully beautiful and well kept five acre garden. It is really superb and immaculately kept. The breakfasts were perfect and delivered on time to our room. We felt spoiled in every way. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer but we will definitely be back. Value for money you could not get better.

This is truly one of the best places we have stayed in, quiet, tranquil, first class accommodation, the garden is just a wonder to behold. Very much a "must visit" the hosts are extremely gracious and welcoming.

This is how it should be done. Tip top!
Travelling through Taumaranui, we came across Bradley's Bed and Breakfast.
How lucky we are.
The one bedroom cottage, is very well appointed, nicely decorated, looks over the hills and a nice orchard teaming with bird life!
It has a spa pool next to it.
The unit is spotless.has wifi and skytv with all channels.
The bed is super comfy.
It looks as if one is the very first guest since it was built. Breakfast was served in the unit, at a time we requested, and delicious! We love the welcome beer and small bottle of bubbles.
We felt at home, away from home. Super cozy.
Truly of great standard and actually how it should be done. A superb example of a well run B&B;!
What a find!
Arriving in Taumarunui after an early start in the South Island and long drive up, we felt like staying somewhere really nice - and we found it here.
The accommodation is separate from the main house and is 5 star. We loved the decorating which was modern and uncluttered. Wonderful bed. Sky TV. Spa. Lovely, huge garden to wander through. Modern bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Free range eggs and bacon and other yuummy things for breakfast.
We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. We felt relaxed and indulged when we left. I can't recommend it highly enough. If you think I am being too positive and you want a negative, the only thing I would have wished for was butter rather than margarine. Absolutely wonderful.
